The dominant philosophy that guides the nursing is knowledge in humanism that defines about the nature of human beings and human environment relationship. It emphasizes humanistic & moral values of caring and promotion of individual welfare & rights. It is an art of healing mankind with service & selflessness as the core traits. The philosophy of a nursing college defines core values statements about both practice & teaching of nursing. Our faculty believes about the education of nursing which reflects the values, beliefs, goals or opinions agreed upon by members of faculty. The philosophy of nursing education determines the aim, objectives, content, methods of teaching & evaluation. |
